The Wiggles are Coming to Tulsa!

yesterday sean was in class so the kids and i ventured out to run to the post office and also to pick up our yearly ration of trash bags from the city. as the rain came pouring down the radio was on. between the thunder, outside traffic and two kids telling me it was raining i barely caught something that said, "wiggles front row tickets before they go on sale." WHAT? WIGGLES? i raced home, got the kids out of the car and went straight to the computer to check. WHY YES! the wiggles will be in tulsa on august 2nd.

we took will to see the wiggles last august when they were in the dfw area and it was a fabulous time. well. except for the meltdown. when he realized he couldn't go on stage with them when a little girl was invited on. all in all it was fabulous time and we said we would 100% be back again.

this is a pic of will and the guitar we bought him. $25. RIP-OFF. NOT! this guitar has been used most everyday since last year. it will come with us to the wiggles concert in tulsa.

i cannot even tell you how excited i am to see them again. i realize will is at a perfect age to really enjoy this, more so than last year. kate loves the wiggles just as much as will so she will enjoy "wu" as she calls them. i have entered both sean and i in a radio station's contest for front row tickets plus we are bothering two people we know who have connections at the event center. i am pretty sure i will pay most anything for front row tickets. gosh, do i have a life?

a beautiful fall afternoon....

it is a beautiful fall afternoon, a bit windy but beautiful. we are playing outside because will refuses to take a nap. kate has had two naps today. will is currently standing on the patio table. kate is going in and out the play house.

a few minutes ago i was taking it all in, the weather, my beautiful kids, surfing the internet, my husband taking his normal sunday nap until..... i look up to see my adorable son kicking my beautiful daughter and then starting to choke her. i screamed and him to stop and then he promptly hugged her and then literally shoved her out the front door of the playhouse. i guess brotherly/sisterly love doesn't last long.

this is a pic from our annual visit to pumpkin town yesterday. it was also the famous ou/texas football game. kate wore burnt orange and will wore crimson. can you tell who dressed each child?

The beginning....

so, for the past few months I have been thinking i should start a blog...but, when will i find the time? i apologize now for my inept writing abilities, those were bestowed on my brother. i will try to update this at least MONTHLY. that is my goal. if i fail, i am sorry.

so, i will post the adventures of the brannon family of oklahoma. where to start....sean had class this weekend so it was me and kids....this is what our weekend consisted of:

1) watch noggin
2) destroy the living room
3) destroy the kitchen
4) watch noggin
5) destroy the upstairs den
6) text daddy and ask when he is coming home
7) watch noggin
8) watch the clock till daddy comes home

that is pretty much my weekend in a nutshell! kate is teething and was cranky. will was his usual ball full of energy. we worked on potty training, it was ok. one poop in the potty, one poop in our diego underwear. we will get there. someday.

here is a picture of my lovely family. this was taken on mother's day at the tulsa zoo.
